 o verify that critical workflows remain stable and performant across new r
 eleases. Manual testing is time-consuming and subjective\, yet there is no
  easy way to automate it directly within QGIS.\n\nThis talk presents the *
 *[Macro plugin](https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/macro_plugin/)**\, which 
 records mouse and keyboard events as reusable macros\, enabling advanced a
 utomation without writing a single line of code. These macros can be saved
 \, shared and executed in different environments.\n\nBy combining macros w
 ith the **[Profiler plugin](https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/profiler_plug
 in/)**\, it is possible to monitor these recorded QGIS actions to detect p
 erformance regressions issues and anomalies from the QGIS UI down to indiv
 idual Python function calls.\n\nPractical applications of Macro and Profil
 er plugins:\n* Repeatable test setups for end-to-end testing\n* Automating
  repetitive manual tasks (even digitizing or editing features)\n* Comparin
 g rendering speeds and processing times across different environments and 
 QGIS or plugin versions\n* Identifying performance bottlenecks in QGIS\n\n
