DESCRIPTION:In the recent months\, there has been a lot of progress in the 
 capabilities of the 3D map visualization within QGIS. With support for var
 ious 3D data formats\, QGIS 3D is moving far beyond the simple viewer when
  it was first released in QGIS 3.0 in 2018.\n\nThis talk summarizes the wo
 rk that has been done in 2025 and 2026 to make QGIS 3D faster\, more power
 ful and easier to use. We will discuss support for ESRI’s scene layers (
 I3S / SLPK)\, improvements to 3D Tiles support\, significant performance i
 mprovements for handling of vector layers and much more!

DESCRIPTION:One of the main features missing in QGIS\, compared to other en
 terprise GIS\, is streamlined web map publishing. Fortunately\, there is t
 he QGIS server\, which is co-developed with the QGIS desktop app\, and a w
 hole ecosystem of tools that provide web map functionality.\n\nThis talk a
 ims to review the current state of web map publishing for QGIS and compare
  the pros and cons of various approaches. We will look at the usual choice
 s\, such as Lizmap\, QWC2 and G3W-Suite\, each with its own distinct philo
 sophy. We will examine the popular qgis2web plugin for simple map publishi
 ng\, investigate the lesser-known tools such as GIS Quick\, and look at th
 e new options like Mergin Maps (which now includes web maps).\n\nFinally\,
  we will contrast the QGIS-native options with non-native approaches - suc
 h as using GeoServer or Felt (which offers QGIS integration) - to see thei
 r benefits and limitations.
