The model designer offers a unique way to automate workflow and create analysis in QGIS. This presentation we will discuss the latest enhancements we contributed to bring to the model designer. Such as drag and drop interface and a number of quality of life improvements.
The presentation will showcase the new user experience and how it influences the workflow in the model designer.
Lastly, we will have a glimpse at the future possible for the model designer and the challenges faced for QGIS to become on par with other ETL software.
Urban planner and QGIS developer, I worked on planning and mobility issues.
Today I primarily contribute to the QGIS project, where I try to improve user experience by my own experience in urban planning. And in return I integrate QGIS in my workflows. Effectively following "Eating your own dog food" principles.
I also advocate for greater diversity within the fields of geomatics and open source.
