Success stories of Mergin Maps and QGIS

Mergin Maps, a collaborative field mapping tool, in combination with a powerful QGIS desktop, can be used in various industries and cases. We will dive into some interesting use cases from Mergin Maps users and analyze how they managed to use open-source GIS systems to keep their field collection and data analysis cool and time-effective.

Peter has been more than 8 years fully involved in software development and consultancy around open-source GIS solutions. First through developing QGIS plugins and features such as Mesh Layer, and more recently as the lead of the Mergin Maps project. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing chess.
