What is "vibe coding"? How can you use LLMs to speed up your coding process? And when is this even desired?
In this presentation, I will cover the topic of AI-assisted coding. I will give some examples of the current state of AI coding assistants and demonstrate how quickly a (GIS) application can be generated with the proper use of an LLM. We will also discuss shortcomings of this approach and ethical considerations.
I am a freelance GIS and web developer interested in the value and limitations of AI for creating societal value.
