A new building data import began in April 2021. This talk will be a status update
In April 2021 a LINZ New Zealand building outlines dataset was added to ESRI's OSM import tools known as MapWithAI and RapID.
This NZ dataset is reportedly the most successfully imported via these platforms, thanks to huge efforts from the community validating and adding the buildings.
The goal of this import was to allow contributors to use New Zealand Buildings Outline data to continue to expand to the coverage of buildings across the country, using data from LINZ which has near-total coverage of the country.
