Can one of the oldest FOSS4G projects add even more features, all while becoming easier to use? This talk will share how the latest GDAL releases do just that.

This talk will provide an update on the latest releases of the GDAL project, including
- why it has 120 commands now, and how that actually makes it easier to use
- all kinds of new capabilities (reclassification, zonal stats, focal stats, raster band calculations)
- pipelines for mixing raster and vector processing
- new format support (Zarr sharding/multiscaling/IceChunk; IHO S-101, CADRG)
