Evan Siroky is the Transit Data Quality Branch Manager within the Division of Data & Digital Services at Caltrans (California Department of Transportation). Evan’s team collects transit data and analyzes the quality of the data at transit agencies across California using a cloud-native data pipeline and warehouse that the team manages. Evan has had a variety of public and private sector jobs within the public transit technology industry. Prior to working at Caltrans, Evan was a senior software developer at IBI Group/Conveyal and served on the OpenTripPlanner Project Leadership Committee. Prior to that, Evan was a software developer at TriMet and built or maintained more than a dozen internal webapps including the agency’s IVR system that delivered realtime arrival information to riders.
