EarthCODE - enabling FAIR Open Earth Science for Earth Action

The development is building on the rich ecosystem of European EO Platforms, as well as on open-source building blocks developed under EOEPCA+. In this talk we will review the EarthCODE initiative, archictecture and suite of services offered to the community, and we will set the scene for a community consultation to take place also at FOSS4G Europe. The scope of the community consultation will be to identify areas for improvement with respect to interoperability and cross-platform integrations. The identified topics will be addressed in the upcoming EarthCODE hackathon (30 Nov - 04 December 2026).
