National Land Survey of Finland has developed Topograhic Data Production System mainly based on Open Source solutions. Most important components are PostGIS, QGIS and QField. The new system will replace the current system step by step. The production is planned to start in April 2025 and it includes most of the topographic database themes.

- open source strategy
- the main features of the new solution

- experiences in the production
- future plans (e.g. generalization and cartographic products)
