What's up in Space V2.0
07-16, 13:30–14:00 (Europe/Sarajevo), SA02

Last year I had the opportunity of giving the talk in FOSS4G Tartu "What's up in Space" in the one I wanted to share what is happening with the New Space industry, new constellations of Satellites with Optical and SAR capabilities, Earth Observation Open Data Programs, Platforms facilitating access to petabytes of data, ESA Network of Resources, ESABIC, Europe's future Space ports preparing to launching rockets and so much more, I want to give continuity speaking an update about what happened the last 12 months, which new Open Data programs are available, which new constellations are up and running and now I am planning to spend most of the time what challenges are being solved by these data, which insights are we getting with all the petabytes of data created with the Earth Observation data available.

This year my main focus will be in the use case all these date and technologies are opening for new opportunities in Research, Entrepreneurship and Governments with the use of Machine Learning and AI.
