Academic Track(Talks, Online Talks, Lightning Talks, Posters)
Academic Track provides a strong basis for collaboration among students, researchers, developers, users, and practitioners carrying out research and development in the geospatial and the free and open source fields. You can submit academic abstracts for oral presentations or posters describing the use of open source geospatial software and data, in and for scientific research, as well as academic endeavors to conceptualize, create, assess, and teach open source geospatial software and data. Academic Track Committee will make efforts to get selected abstracts published in reputed academic journals.
General Track(Talks, Online Talks, Lightning Talks, Workshops)
FOSS4G conference is the ideal showcase event for new applications, projects, government policies, case studies, business perspectives and training for free and open source geospatial software.
FOSS4G-Asia 2023 Seoul expects 2 types of contributions in General Track, Talks and Workshops.
● Talks: 30 minutes oral presentations with the intention of a 20-minute talk, 5 minutes of Q&A, and 5 minutes for transition time
● Workshops: 4 hours workshops for teaching, training, and sharing skills, knowledge of open source geospatial projects.
