GeoTools is the backbone of the Java Geospatial community, implementing a lot of the GIS functionality behind GeoServer, GeoNetwork and more. GeoTools is a longstanding OSGeo Project working behind the scenes to power the software you know and love.

Check in with this project as we update to Java 17, a new image processing engine, introduce bill-of-materials for easier integration.
