Jumpei Takami
Jumpei Takami is an Associate Expert in Remote Sensing for Disaster Management with the UN-SPIDER Programme at the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) in Vienna. With a master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and over a decade of experience in satellite remote sensing, he specializes in synthetic aperture radar (SAR/InSAR), machine learning, and digital twin technology for disaster risk reduction: spanning floods, landslides, drought, and land subsidence.
