Aderaw Tsegaye Aniteneh

I hold a Master’s degree in GIS and Remote Sensing and work as a Climate and Geospatial Researcher at the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR). My work focuses on spatial analysis, climate modeling, and ecosystem management, applying geospatial technologies to support sustainable agriculture and environmental management. I am also an active member of OSM Ethiopia, contributing to humanitarian mapping and promoting open geospatial tools for community development. In addition to research, I engage in community service by providing consultations and conducting training programs to build local capacity in geospatial technologies and data-driven decision-making.

Through interactive activities like sketch mapping and neighborhood exploration, the initiative aims to foster environmental awareness, geographic literacy, and early digital learning among young students.
