FOSS4G 2024 Workshop

Working with OpenLayers
12-03, 14:00–18:00 (America/Belem), Room Forte do Castelo (M Block)

Join us to learn everything you need to know to build an OpenLayers application. Whether you're new to the library, haven't used it in a while, or are a regular user wanting to dig into some new features, this workshop is for you! The workshop is divided into a series of modules with hands-on exercises walking through OpenLayers concepts and functionality.

We'll start out by getting you set up with a development environment and walk through the available learning resources. The modules get more advanced as we walk through editing vector data, working with mobile devices, custom rendering with WebGL, styling vector tiles, and manipulating data with raster operations.

Core developers to the project will be on hand to walk you through the workshop exercises and answer questions you may have about your own OpenLayers projects.
