This workshop will provide an introduction to building your own GeoPortal based on the MapStore Open Source framework.
MapStore downstream projects are applications based on MapStore's WebGIS product. They represent the standard best practice for using MapStore as a framework to develop sophisticated WebGIS portals by reusing and extending its core building blocks.
The workshop provides an overview of the MapStore technological stack and introduces to the development of a MapStore project.
The topics covered during the workshop are the following:
- Introduction to MapStore
- How to create a MapStore project
- How to customize the look and feel of a MapStore project
- Configure plugins
- Configure internationalization
- Configure printing
- Extending the MapStore project with your own plugins
In order to participate in the workshop a working knowledge of npm, ReactJS and JavaScript is needed.
