Data Collection Using KoboToolbox

The workshop aims to orient participants on the features and use of KoboCollect, an open-source ODK collect mobile application that could gather primary data for mapping and building a database for different exposure elements.


In this workshop, the topics covered are creating a kobo toolbox account, crafting forms in the kobo toolbox, setting up your kobo collect application, collecting field data with kobo collect, uploading forms with kobo collect, and building forms with XLS form.

Feye teaches a GIS elective at De La Salle University-Manila and mentors the UP Resilience Institute YouthMappers. She also served as a Regional Ambassador in Asia for YouthMappers. She has been an active volunteer OpenStreetMap-Philippines since 2013, where she teaches different stakeholders how to use OpenStreetMap and other open mapping tools and techniques. She is also a member of the HOT Quality Control Working Group, which ensures and maintains data quality on humanitarian projects.
