A critic analysis of the CRA

The EU Commission is introducing the "Cyber Resilience Act", a legislation aimed at improving the security aspects of software.

This talk is an overview and criticism of the CRA: How it has been developed, what it aims for, what are come likely outcome scenarios, and how all of this affects the OSGeo Foundation and its obligations as "Open Source Steward".

Iván has been a web developer and FLOSS advocate since the early 2000s; then he bought a GPS receiver and got involved in OpenStreetMap and OSGeo.
